Kodansha announced that Adachitoka will resume his manga Noragami: Stray God in the July issue of the magazine June 6. The manga had a long break in May 2017 to allow one of the members of Adachitoka to recover from an illness. The manga will be on the cover of the July issue.
While the interruption of the manga began in May 2017, the 75th chapter of the manga did not appear as expected in April 2017. At that time, the editorial said that the sudden failure of the problem was due to the "circumstances".
Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in English and his manga Noragami: Stray Stories. The company describes the original manga:
Yato is a homeless god, he does not even have a sanctuary, let alone worshippers! So, to achieve his ambitious goals, he set up a service to help people in need (for a small fee), in the hope that it will eventually raise enough money to build a sumptuous temple of his dreams. Do not allow yourself to be difficult, Yato accepts all kinds of work, find the kittens lost to help a student overcome the bullies at school.
Adachitoka launched the manga in Shonen Magazine monthly in 2010, and Kodansha released the 18th volume of the manga book in February 2017. Kodansha Comics released the 18th volume of the manga in June.
The manga has inspired an anime series of 12 episodes, which was created in January 2014. Funimation released the series as it was broadcast and distributed in home videos. The second season of the anime entitled Noragami Aragoto, was created in October 2015, and Funimation also broadcast the series in the transmission and dissemination of the video.
